Cicada Road SW18
This traditional Victorian London house has benefited from the addition of a side extension to allow more space for a growing family. It was important that the new kitchen worked really well and complements the new space which is used as the children’s play area during the day, and is then a relaxing spot for the evening as well as an attractive dining area
Dark Slate blue Shaker provides the classic feel to the kitchen and the brick feature wall gives a modern twist with the bronze mirror splash-back and Carrera quartz worktop. The tall units house the fridge/freezer and boiler. The island has a sink, dishwasher and bin providing the main preparation area. The L-shaped island seating area means that family and friends can gather close when eating or entertaining. Placing the island parallel to the hob run provided natural separation from the rest of the room whilst leaving plenty of space for the dining table, sofa and TV.
